What is Fair Trade?

The label “Fair Trade” refers to products created with an equitable and fair partnership between consumers in North American and producers in Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean. As a proud private label Fair Trade coffee company, Magnum takes care to ensure that farmers get a fair price for their harvests in order to earn a decent living wage. We work directly with farmers to maintain our low, but never exploitative, prices. This means that the farmers and growers can maintain the standard of life they deserve while providing us with the delicious coffee we crave. As a result, you never need to lose sleep, as Fair Trade makes sure the farmers and smallholders are fairly compensated for every bean under this label.

Similarly, this is a relationship we maintain through our private label partners. Every cup we make together will be held to the highest standards of ethics and Fair Trade. Because of this, you and your customers can know you have purchased a product that benefits the farmers and growers.

Magnum products also offers a complete line of Kosher products, and supports the Coffee Kids Grounds for Hope project. Additionally, Magnum is USDA Organic, and is certified by the Smithsonian Bird Friendly Coffee Program, the Rainforest Alliance, the National Coffee Association USA, the Specialty Coffee Association, and the SQF Institute.

Founded in Nunica, Michigan, Magnum Coffee is a local private label supplier with a national reach. We private label coffee for influential brands from coast to coast, thanks to our recent expansion to Las Vegas, Nevada. From our massive 40,000-square-foot roasting facility mere miles from Lake Michigan, to our plant in the Entertainment Capital of the World, and everywhere in between, Magnum Coffee has what it takes to provide quality coffee. We produce over 11 million cups of coffee per day with our state-of-the-art equipment, and we are here to help you!

However, even with our wide reach, we promise that every cup of Magnum coffee is held to the high standards we set for ourselves. Firstly, this commitment starts with our specialty beans, which are grown between 4,000 and 6,000 feet above sea level between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn. With their smooth, rich taste, your private label coffee customers won’t be able to get enough! Secondly, we pick the beans at the peak of their ripeness, then transport them carefully back to the United States. Finally, we process them into the unique flavors and blends you know and love.
